CERT laboratories (Treviso Tecnologia Certification and Testing Centre) work in the local context so as to develop investments, knowledge and utilities that further the promotion and accreditation of local products on domestic and international markets. CERT services are provided by the Products Laboratory and the Metrological Laboratory, which are accredited by the Italian accreditation institutes SINAL and SIT (upon standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025) according to specific needs of the local entrepreneurial environment. Moreover, the Products Laboratory is a Notified Body for CE marking of wood & furniture and construction products – CPD no. 1600. The main areas of activity (divisions that are Notified Bodies as well) are:

• Industrial and commercial doors; garage doors;
• Wooden floors;
• Resilient, textile and laminated floor covering;
• Textiles; Clothing;
• Metrology;
• Chemical Laboratory;
• Fire performance (licensed by the Italian Ministry of the Interior for tests aimed at homologation).

A network of professional skills is established with the intent of fostering the spread and implementation of Quality, Environment and Safety Management Systems. Treviso Tecnologia offers enterprises a skilled consulting service that supports the system/product certification or accreditation, but is also efficient from the managerial/organizational and technical point of view.
InfoTech Services develop some activities like:
- technical and technological information;
- initiatives of divulgation;
- operative backing on Intellectual Property – Patents, Trade Marks, Design Rights – and International Standardization themes;
The aim of this service is to supply targeted tools and knowledge on technological innovation, patents and marks, and on new planning, production and marketing systems for products.
From 1999, Treviso Tecnologia is a member of PATLIB (Patent Information Centres, special offices of the EPO – European Patent Office) with the aim of improving assistance to enterprises and individuals in the field of Intellectual Property. The spread of national and international technical law is guaranteed by the Punto UNI/CEI/EN through accurate technical assistance, divulgation and specialized training throughout the territory.
